How to Hack a Heatsink/Fan to your CPU...

Hello All.
How to Hack a Heatsink/Fan to your CPU... ...
The problem: The motherboard doesnt fit the case, and is not from the original PC.  The heatsink will not fit
the motherboard, so here we have a cheap solution........................
 ZIP TIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Take one long zip tie, and loop it under the system board (before you put it into the case!) and then zip tie
it down tight.  This is on a P4 LGA socket brand new motherboard. Yes, i could have spend $10-20 for
the cpu fan, but I needed a case and Im on a tight budget anyway. so to save myself $50, I hacked an old
computer case with a dremel, and made it fit.

(Above) This is an above shot of the zip ties actually holding the heatsink/fan down onto the CPU/Board.
I left the zip ties long just so you could see what i looks like before i cut then short (not too short)
if you ever need to remove the CPU, just cut the zip ties. for 100+ on them its like $5 I use them on
everything. Also you get to see my foot :)

Here is the back of the case after I cut it out. The black line is what I have left to cut out.  I broke several
of the cutting disks on this one. It s a pain to cut the case at this angle. I had to cut this because the
VGA connector was too big to fit in the given space.

As a side note, the computer is working great!
