i figured out how to get the redhat desktop over SSH. Yes, I rock for figuring this a little bit.
Also, check this out ..
To do it -
In putty , enabled X over SSH .
On a windows box , install xming , and start it .
Connect to your rhel or linux box .. and then run ..
xclock &
It should start a clock on your desktop, in another window .. in xming... if you did it correctly .
Here are my system ascii headers when you connect to my linux machines ..
They look badass:
The 'redbeast' is my redhat linux server, the freenas is my NAS server.
Pretty cool huh ?
