Here is what I have from Rose Island ..

slim pickings this time.

I have an EVP, and only 1 good picture.. strange... last time, there was considerably more evidence.
but I did have a personal experience ill not soon forget. There was boots walking around outside of the room i was in. i opened the door to investigate the noises, and there was NOTING THERE.

I see a face sorta in the middle of the pic below ... could be light glare from the IR camera on the right.

Here  is the EVP I caught. They were no females on the island at the time of the investigation.

Upgrades / Tune up .. lude..

Sorry to post so much all in one day,

Just the way its been lately.
I have been working on the lude in preparation for inspection in Mass :(
I loathe state-bullshit-inspections.
you know whats funny about inspections ? commercial vehicles are exempt. ex. big rigs...
and, 1 big rig emits about 78,000 car's emissions.
really? now try to tell me again how my little car is killing the planet.
FUCK INSPECTION!
but, anyway, here is my progress to date...

 

I added fog lights to my lude.

I am not going to do a write up, since one was already done on another blog.

I added the foggies because its hard to see it shitty weather in NE, and nice to have for snow/rain/fog.

they are great and bright. $60 for the setup on ebay!

So here it is... I tried to match the valve cover to the air filter, and breather.
The wires are the Red 10MM MSD, a honda cap, msd rotor, and NGK double platinum
If this engine gives me problems in the future, it may be time for a jap spec h22 :)
well see.

so here it is.. running a little stronger now, and hits vtec HARD. its been 2 years for me since the last tune up.
hope it last another 2 years, but well see.

This friday I am heading out for another investigation at an old favorite.

 This place is very haunted.
Let me say that shit again, this place is HAUNTED.
Voices, a young child, many people that died on the island from war, shipwrecks, visual evidence.
It is available for rental. I have been here once before, and have so many questions that need answering.
I will link out my old post (a year ago) and let you see what I caught last time.
and I caught some good stuff last time! In one of captures, a ghost is flipping me the bird, amid several spirits revealing themselves to my camera.

I have 2 new 3d cameras  :)
I cant wait to try them, and see what i catch. I dont even have a tv or a monitor that I can view 3d YET.
But I am working on it.. shits still expensive.. waiting for 3d technology to drop a bit first.

New Alien PC Built, and Built and modded my core 2 duo

check these out...

I bought a couple new motherboards, and some cpus, and other random perfs. I needed to complete the systems. here are the end results...
They all scream...
The system I am working on now, has a 2gig video card. Its a freaking beast.

Here is the build for Walt. in this picture, its about halfway. The board can support up to 16 gig of ram, and 2 PCI-E video cards.

This is the end result of the build. I didnt grab a side shot, but i also put a 120mm 4 color led exhaust fan to keep it cool inside.

Here is the system I re-built after the bios failure :( it works great now! I put in a CCFL Ultraviolet light in the case, but I didnt like it. I couldnt see the lights in my setup. I want to be able to see some sort of light when its running.

Here it is now. Its not a gateway by any means. Its an old case Ive modded the hell out of for my own evil purposes. But here it is ... I put that light bar in front so I can see if the beast is on.

this computer .. (with the uv light above) is the beast! it has the 2gig video card and I love it. 

there is something about have a modded ANYTHING for me. I dont know what it is, but if its not modded - to me its boring. well see what the next iteration will be.

Prelude intake update

 

So here we are again, my intake. <WTF> This is the intake on my car. This is the upper plenum from an h22a1! not my 99 sh.

it looks totally different. on the one on the car there is a spring valve that says "up" on the picture above. this plenum does not have one at all. just a little vacuum connection <under black throttle cable catcher on right>

 

 Also, notice, that there are NO NIPPLES for a vacuum on the right hand side of the manifold.

No nipples for a vacuum connection on the right hand side of the upper intake plenum.

Here is the mapping for a 99 prelude SH. now I understand why i am confused and cant figure out why its not running correctly and why none of these maps make any fucking sense.

This is the intake vacuum map for a h22a1/h23a1 (prelude 92-96)If you look at this one, the nipples are there on the right hand side of the intake. So, now, all i have to do, is remove the upper plenum, reseal it, and remove the IAB, rerun the vacuums, and take off the TB/cable. Not too bad considering how much work it was to remove the whole intake itself. at least this I can get to. but it is going to have to wait until i have the gasket. Hopefully it will be cheap. I cant see that being super expensive, but well see.

Intake removal / reinstall on my 99 prelude sh

Well, first i would like to say..

WHAT THE FUCK.

Im exhausted after doing this and it was a total bitch to removal my Skunk2 racing intake and put in
the OEM intake, and I dont even think I have the routing correct yet. but its a work in progress.
I have 3 months before inspection and im never doing this job again, and im goin to sell the intake (S2)
I am also thinking about getting rid of my lude and getting another type of car. well see.

here are some pics from the tear down. it took all day, and i had help. for the most part I did the job myself -
except when it came to the bolts underneath the intake. no fucking way i was about to get to them. my mechanic did those.  I took off everything else but those.  check out some of the pics from the rebuild..

Heres right after i got the TB out of the car..here is the OEM intake before i reinstalled it.

In progress, i have the fuel rail off, and IAB off, and am starting to dismantle the upper part of the intake.

same thing, different angle..

these runners make it impossible to even get your hands in there to remove the bottom nuts on the intake.

same...

almost the end.. try to figure out the routing still, and i have a MIL light for the fucking EGR, but im happy so far.

car is pulling harder than it was with the Skunk2 intake. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PC mod I did...

Here is my  latest mod for my pc, not really a mod, just a upgrade really..

I added a card reader w/ a usb port. $6 BTW.  It fits into a available USB port on the MB and into a
3 1/2 floppy drive slot. not a bigg deal and took less than 10 mins to install and setup (win does most of it)

check it out.

it lights up when its on, and it also lights up when reading and has a card plugged in.

it has a usb port, and cf, ms duo , sd, mini sd,  and xd card reader.
cool little unit, i am always uploading pics into the pc, and i hate trying to find the card reader for this pupose.

A photo from the past...

Way back when i was a kid, I believed in ghosts and aliens.
sounds crazy i know. but I watched Unsolved Mysteries, about ghosts and aliens,
and it freaked me out so much that i had trouble sleeping. or i think ive always had
a touch of insomnia. but i dont know. so after much babbling here it is.

this one has a story. i, myself, did not take this pic, but when i saw it I begged my best friend
for it. he gave it to me, and I never thought anyone would ever see it but here it is.

maybe someone knows which, i think it was in italy, but i cant be sure, and there is a skeletal
shadow thing appearing above the glass windows. as I was told, the picture is actually of the
glass windows. you know how the windows in a church are beatiful.

the whole photo, the last one is a more zoomed in version of this. even with the blur on the bottom of the photo, it still doesnt explain what/why that is above the window.

New 3d camera..

Yo.


So here it is... I bought a used, but used 2 times, so its brand new.
the owner did not like it, but i think its because he didnt understand it and didnt have a way to view it.
like myself at the moment. It has a 'barrier' screen that combines the two images together for your eyes.
I want to try to capture a 3d ghost photo.
tell me that wouldnt rock!
its an svp dc 3d 80 model.
its a score, but if i was to post up some images, most of us cannot see them.
as it is, I can only view the picuctres on the rear display of the camera.
but, even still it takes 3d video, and great normal 2d pictures, and the 3d is pretty cool too.
it can do the red/blue thing and the combined 3d.

I have to invest in a 3d monitor or something. ill keep ya updated, but thats the next plan.

its tiny, can fit into your pocket with no problem. only a couple inches long/wide. only complaint is no where to mount it to a flash bracket.

here is the rear of the camera. it has a barrier display (3d) . takes great photos. ill post a few..

crappy 40 gig sata drive
and the board can do... umm... RAID.. which is kinda cool.



+plus I put it into an evil looking see thru case..

I would totally buy more of these cases. It has an amd x2 inside. maybe ill mod it to have red eyes

So, here I found a couple pics that I found interesting. I was just flipping through some shots and these 2 caught my attention. one is blurry as hell.. doesnt mean its fake or doctored at all, just motion blurr..

Zoom in and look at where the black meets the light in the upper part of the window. (its a face!)

look at the upper window toward the right middle. theres a evil creepy face. and there is also one below in the same spot in the lower window.  i noticed it by accident, and they are like, sideways looking at us. freaky.

Next investigation isnt for a little bit (couple weeks i think) so I might be quiet until then or I might work on something else.

I have EVP to also put up, but I would rather do that going foward, and not go backward, but I might release some of it in the future. Well see.
